Contract extensions/multiple contracts
For contractors selected through a formal competitive process (RFP or ITB), the period for allowing extensions should match that defined in the tendering documents. The total contract duration, including extensions, normally should not exceed 24 months; any exception to this duration must be authorized by the Director PFA.
For contractors selected through a RFQ or small-value procurement, extensions must not exceed the original duration of the contract.
Multiple separate contracts to a single supplier are subject to approval considering their accumulated amount for the previous 24-month period.
