The management and care of UNAIDS vehicles have special provisions.
- Vehicles will be assigned a barcode number. Wherever possible, the label should be affixed next to the manufacturer's identification of the chassis number (inside the vehicle cabin).
- A detailed vehicle maintenance log must be kept. The depreciation of the vehicle depends as much on the time elapsed since the purchase date as it does on the miles/kilometres covered.
